The room was bright, had an exceptionally good view to the sea and trains. The breakfasts were satisfactory, always with a wide range of meals. The location of the hotel was marvellous and fab - at walking distance from Lake Boat Safari. The service was spectacular and the food was nice. The staff was great, kept everything clean and brand-new.

The room was well-lit and equipped with a TV and air conditioning, which was exactly what I was looking for, and the staff members were fantastic.

As young people, we loved the super friendly and accommodating staff. They made us feel right at home and were always ready to help with a smile. the rooms were big and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. the hotel's location was excellent, with nearby restaurants, shops, and even the beach. the family owners took great care of us, ensuring our needs were met. the place was spotless and they even arranged a 5am airport transfer for us. Great value for money too.

The hotel is spotless. The staff is friendly. The location is particularly good and close to Negombo. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Great food is offered. Zand Kitchen & Bar is close by. My favorite thing about Hotel Shanelo in Negombo is that it is so clean. the staff are really nice and the location is great, especially after a long flight from the UK. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the food at the hotel is top-notch. I also loved that Zand Kitchen & Bar is just a stone's throw away.

very clean and comfortable rooms - great location close to the airport and the beach - got local insights and excellent support for trips from the owner - amazing service - the staff even checked our taxi at 4:30 am.

The staff here are super friendly! the rooms are pretty spacious and fancy, with a shared bathroom, AC, and a balcony to chill on. Plus, you can check in early and there's parking right here. 🌟

The room at Hotel Shanelo was absolutely amazing! It had high-speed Wi-Fi for all our business needs, and an awesome workspace. Plus, the balcony with a garden view was the perfect spot to relax. The room had everything we needed, including comfy bedding and air conditioning, not to mention the free Wi-Fi and safes.

The only thing we liked less was the bathroom. It had a bath/shower combo, but we would have preferred just a shower.

The WiFi was only available in public areas, which was a bit inconvenient. the door to our room didn't have a bolt, so it was a bit tricky to lock at night.

Deluxe Triple: The room came with every modern necessity that made for a luxurious stay. It was like staying in a mini paradise with all the amenities at your disposal.

Late-night access: I could have been locked out if I arrived after midnight as I had to unlock the gate from the inside.
